Why We Built This Site
Mississippi law opens a great deal of court and agency information to the public. The difficulty is not the law; it is knowing which office holds the piece you actually need. A warrant is not one document sitting in one place. A judge signs the order and sets any bond terms, a clerk files it and records what happens next, and an officer carries it out and returns paperwork to that same clerk. Bench warrants for missed court dates usually stay with whichever court set the case, which in this county often means a town court rather than anything at the county level. Clarke County has no public countywide warrant search, no posted active list, and no sheriff warrant page, so it is easy to check one office, hear nothing, and wrongly conclude you are in the clear. We gather the contact details, the access routes, the docket vocabulary, and the request steps for each of these offices in one place so you can begin where the answer actually lives.
What You Will Find Here
- Missed court dates: how bench warrants arise in Mississippi and which Clarke County court holds one
- Charge-based orders: how arrest warrants are issued under the state criminal rules and who serves them here
- Checking a name: how to run a warrant search through the clerks and the state electronic court system
- Open orders: what active warrants mean when no list is published and how docket wording is read
- Getting it resolved: the routes to clear a warrant, from a reset or payment to a bond or a motion filed by counsel
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. No Mississippi court, clerk's office, sheriff, or state agency is connected to it in any way. The limits on what we can help with are real:
- We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone, or run an official check
- We cannot recall, quash, clear, or remove a warrant from any system
- We cannot accept a payment of any kind or post a bond
- We cannot schedule a court date, arrange a surrender, or walk anyone through a courthouse
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a particular order applies to your situation
- We cannot promise that every phone number, fee, or hour listed here is accurate at this moment
Only the court that signed the order, or the office holding the record, can confirm what exists and whether anything has been recalled or resolved. We can point you to the right door in Quitman or one of the towns, but the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Certain pages here carry search boxes operated by outside companies. Those firms set their own prices and run their own services independently of us. If you use one of those tools and it results in a paid signup, a referral fee may come back to us, and that revenue is what keeps the site free to read. We have no control over what those tools charge or what their results contain, and nothing they return is an official Mississippi warrant check.
